5-Year Limited Warranty
Every OTIQVER LiFePO4 battery is covered by a 5-year limited warranty from the date of purchase. We build our batteries with automotive-grade LiFePO4 prismatic cells and a multi-layer Battery Management System (BMS). We stand behind that construction — in writing.
What's Covered
- Warranty period: 5 years from the date of purchase
- Capacity retention: ≥ 80% of rated capacity under normal use
- BMS defects: full coverage for BMS hardware failure
- Cell defects: full coverage for manufacturing defects in cells
- Workmanship: full coverage for defects in materials and workmanship
What "80% Capacity Retention" Means
At any point during your 5-year warranty, if your battery delivers less than 80% of its rated capacity under normal use, we repair or replace it.
- 24V 100Ah — rated 100Ah (2,560Wh), warranty threshold 80Ah (2,048Wh)
- 24V 200Ah — rated 200Ah (5,120Wh), warranty threshold 160Ah (4,096Wh)
Rated capacity is measured under standard test conditions (25°C / 77°F, 0.5C discharge rate).
What "Normal Use" Means
Your battery has been in normal use if it has been:
- Charged and discharged within the voltage and current specifications on the product page
- Charged only at ambient temperatures at or above 32°F (0°C)
- Stored and operated within the specified operating temperature range
- Used with a compatible, properly rated charger
- Not disassembled, modified, or repaired by an unauthorized party
- Not subject to physical damage, flooding, fire, or other external causes
What's Not Covered
This warranty does not cover:
- ❌ Damage caused by charging below 32°F (0°C) — LiFePO4 cells sustain permanent, irreversible damage when charged below freezing. This is a physical limitation of the chemistry, not a manufacturing defect.
- ❌ Normal capacity change that stays within the warranty threshold (a battery at 85% after 4 years is performing to spec)
- ❌ Damage from over-voltage, over-current, short circuit, or reverse polarity connection
- ❌ Damage from an incompatible or non-certified charger
- ❌ Cosmetic damage: scratches, dents, scuffs, or discoloration that does not affect function
- ❌ Water damage or use outside the specified IP rating
- ❌ Improper storage, including extended storage at full charge or below -4°F (-20°C)
- ❌ Products with altered, defaced, or removed serial numbers
- ❌ Products bought from unauthorized resellers
- ❌ Incidental, indirect, or consequential damages

Pro-Rata Refunds
If we cannot repair or replace your battery, we may offer a pro-rata refund:
Refund = Purchase Price × (Remaining Warranty Months ÷ 60)
Example: a $609 battery failing in month 30 receives $609 × (30 ÷ 60) = $304.50.
Transferability
This warranty is non-transferable. It applies only to the original purchaser and is tied to the original order number.
Warranty Registration
Save your order confirmation email and locate the serial number label on your battery. No separate registration is required — your order number is your proof of purchase.
Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, OTIQVER's total liability shall not exceed the purchase price of the product, and we shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including loss of profits, loss of data, or costs of substitute equipment. Some states do not allow exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above may not apply to you.
